Achievement: Construction of the project connecting the western districts of Thanh Hoa is a major project, implementing the Government's hunger eradication and poverty reduction program (program 30a) for ethnic minorities in the mountainous areas of Thanh Hoa, and has supported Support investment in infrastructure construction in poor districts, build and upgrade about 200 km of roads, contributing to improving infrastructure, socio-economic development and poverty reduction in the districts. The poverty rate decreased by an average of 2.24%/year, basically achieving the planned target and belonging to the group of provinces with the fastest poverty reduction rate in the country; The rate of reduction in poverty rate in mountainous districts is always 1.8 times higher than the province's average, of which 7 poor districts are 2.2 times higher than the province's average; The problem of creating jobs, increasing income, and the lives of poor households, near-poor households, and households newly escaping poverty have clearly improved. Essential infrastructure to serve production and life in poor districts, poor communes, ethnic minority areas, and areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions has been strengthened; Access to basic social services is increasingly enhanced.
