Landslide protection embankment on the left dyke of Ma River, Vinh Thanh commune, Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province.

- Objective: Improve infrastructure to promote the economic development of urban areas, act as a driving force for economic development in the left region of Ma River - Thanh Hoa, Vietnam, improve the quality of the living environment, and reduce the impact of climate change on people, realizing the goal of hunger eradication and poverty reduction for the people. Enhance the ability to drain floods and floodwater for urban areas, ensure safety for people, and increase water retention capacity in the dry season; Build an adjacent system to ensure the safety of life and property for people in areas affected by landslides during floods. This project is invested by the Dyke Repair Project Management Board.

- Project implementation: Organizing construction site premises, construction equipment, warehouses for gathering materials and waste, arranging entrance gates, barriers, signs, water supply, drainage, traffic, communication lost during

- Budget: 5,937 million VND.

- Time period: (from December 2012 to June 2013).

- Role: Project executive director. 

Achievements: The project to repair dykes and embankments to prevent landslides on the left dyke of Ma River, Vinh Thanh commune, Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province has helped people in Vinh Thanh commune, Vinh Loc district prevent landslides and dyke subsidence. Preventing floods, natural disasters, and waterlogging that damages people's crops and farmland. From there, socio-economic development in general and the economy of Vinh Thanh commune, Vinh Loc district in particular. Intellectual development has led to an increase in people's cultural level, with average revenue increasing by 20-30%.
